It was a three in one event for ‘Jambada Hudugi’ of Kannada cinema Priya Haasan. She is Priya Ram today after marrying a businessman Ram. As the media was not able to attend her wedding on account of Cauvery water issue trouble, Priya and Ram hosted party to media, released trailer and shown songs of the film ‘Smuggler’ and announced the release of the film in January.

Sri Chamundeswari Studio Rajalakshmi, Dinesh industrialist, Umesh Banakar, V Manohar, MN Suresh and brothers of Priya Haasan were present at the event.  Umesh Banakar of KFCC urged Priya to release the film after tension eases out of this demonetization.

Speaking on this occasion hubby of Priya Ram said he was seeing since three years and finally put the proposal. She has a very good heart he stated.

Rajalakshmi of Chamundeswari studio said Priya should not stop acting from films after her marriage. She has done films with different subjects and continues to do so she added.

Priya Haasan said the reason for delay of Smuggler is loss of her mother in the last year. I was in to depression. As the suggestion also came that I should get married within one year of my mother demise, the marriage also took place. Today I am with my husband Mr Ram. The film ‘Smuggler’ has gone to censor and it is releasing in January. I would support my husband business and he would encourage me to take up good films in the coming days she mentioned.
